About the Company ABX Air is a US cargo airline operating Boeing freighter aircraft under FAA regulations. Role Overview The Maintenance Controller monitors, expedites, coordinates and directs line maintenance performed on all ABX aircraft. Key Responsibilities Monitor, expedite, coordinate and direct line maintenance performed on all ABX aircraft. Provide technical assistance to line representatives and contract agencies. Interface with ABX departments in support of operational and other requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: high school diploma or GED. Licence: A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) licence. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently, accept responsibility and make decisions that directly impact the dispatch reliability of the ABX fleet. Experience Four years of experience in the maintenance of commercial transport aircraft. Preferred: two years of supervisory or lead experience. Preferred: experience on an aircraft type operated by ABX. Preferred: commercial airline maintenance control experience. Preferred: experience in powerplant, avionics and structures. Preferred: bilingual, Spanish speaking. Additional Information The position may be based at either CVG or ILN.
