At Smart City, Apartment Locators work one-on-one with renters to help them find apartments they'll love.

You'll spend your days talking with Dallas clients, touring properties, building personalized recommendations, and guiding people through one of the biggest decisions they'll make all year.

Unlike traditional real estate, you won't spend your time cold-calling or searching for clients to eventually build a sustainable pipeline over a few years.  Our marketing team generates thousands of renter leads each month,  so you can focus on what actually matters: building relationships and helping clients find the right home.

What you'll actually do

• Guide clients from the first conversation to signed lease.
• Communicate by phone, text, and email.
• Build personalized apartment recommendations.
• Tour apartments throughout Dallas
• Work closely with leasing partners.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Sales or Client Service Experience: Building personal relationships is key to helping people find their homes. You'll be well-prepared to succeed if you have experience supporting clients in previous roles.
• Real Estate License: You'll need to finish your coursework towards your Texas Real Estate License within 6 weeks of being offered a position. But don't worry—we'll walk you through the process!
• Local Travel Required: Local travel around the city to tour with your clients.
• Laptop Required:  Having a laptop is crucial to being successful in this role. The expectation is that we are shockingly accessible to our clients, sometimes on short notice. Being tied down to running a search from only one location could limit the level of service you're able to provide your clients. You'll also want to make sure your laptop is set up for video calls, when the need arises!
  • While a MacBook is not required for this role, it is highly encouraged. We've found that the ability to seamlessly work with clients through your computer and phone at the same time often leads to greater efficiency and stronger results.
• iPhone Required:  The mobile version of our custom CRM only operates on iOS.
