1. Position Overview

Our client in Austin is looking for a Korean/English Bilingual Physical Security Maintenance Specialist. This role primarily addresses physical security system issues for major customers (semiconductor/battery factories, research institutes, and offices) in the United States and manages customers and local partners based on a basic understanding of the system, and communicates closely with in-house experts to resolve issues.

2. Key Responsibilities

• 1st Customer Response (Tier 1 Support): Initial reception, initial troubleshooting, and classification of failures across the entire physical security system, including access control (ACS), video surveillance (VMS), and scanning equipment

• Manage Local Partners: Coordinating technician dispatch, and supervising on-site work

• Internal Engineer Communication: Accurate on-site situation reporting for escalation and technical collaboration with systems experts

• VOC Management: Providing VOC progress management reports

3. Qualifications

• Experience: Physical Security or Technical Customer Response Experience of 2+ years

• Capability: Basic knowledge of physical security systems such as access control (ACS), video surveillance (VMS), and scanning equipment

• Education: Computer engineering, computing, and network majors (preferred)

• Communication: Excellent English and Korean communication skills to coordinate local US customers/partners and communicate with internal system experts

• Language: Korean language proficiency required

4. Preferred Qualifications

• Major security platform (LenelS2 OnGuard, Genetec, Milestone, etc.) certification holders

• Blueprint decipher and basic IP network knowledge holder

5. Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

• Bonus: $3,000 bi-annual performance bonus (paid twice per year, every 6 months)

• 401(k): Employer matches up to 3% of annual salary after 1 year of employment

• PTO: 1 day granted per month

6. Employment Type & Working Conditions

• Employment Type: At-Will Employment, Regular Full-Time

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Primary Location: Austin Office & Taylor Office, TX

• Travel: Approximately 10% travel required; primary travel destinations include Atlanta (GA), Tennessee (TN), and California (CA)
